Restorative Shoulders Program
Designed by a physical therapist, the Restorative Shoulders Program targets shoulder mobility and stability with 12 routines. This mobility program promotes healthy shoulders for strength training and general wellness. Integrating shoulder mobility into your routine helps prevent injuries and improve posture. If you work in front of a computer, have had previous shoulder injuries or if you just feel like your shoulders are tight, this is a great program to follow. The program is three weeks long with four routines per week.
How to incorporate with other workout programs:
This program can be completed as a stand-alone program or in conjunction with a workout program. The 4 routines can be followed on any day with one workout per day. The program can be repeated to maintain healthy shoulders. If you are following a workout program, then a Restorative Shoulder Program routine can be used in place of a warm-up on upper body days.
Equipment:
This program requires a long resistance band (about 2.5x your arm length) and a long foam roller. A few exercises are demonstrated with a loop resistance band but can be completed with a long band instead.
